On the way to Innoshima to search for Sai, after hurriedly visiting two places the next morning, Hikaru and Kawai had lunch at an okonomiyaki shop. Although the shop name is not clearly shown on the sign or in dialogue, in the panel where Kawai says “this one's on me,” the menu on the wall lists “Danran MIX,” and the dish name bears the shop's name. The shop is about a 3-minute walk from Onomichi Station: exit the main entrance, turn left, cross the railway crossing, and it is on the second floor of the building directly ahead. It has 3 tables and 4 counter seats, with a very warm and comfortable atmosphere. The proprietress is very friendly. Inside, above the wall menu are keychains of Sai and Hikaru left by fans, and the magazine rack holds the serialized Weekly Shonen Jump and Hikaru no Go volume 15, among other related items. The “Danran MIX” that Hikaru eats in the work is said to be a dish the Weekly Shonen Jump editorial team actually ordered during their interview. [Addendum] This shop closed on May 20, 2013.
