Before the Sai arc, to avoid overcomplicating the story, the organizational structure of the Osaka Japan Go Association was not described in detail. Only in round 1 of the Hokuto Cup qualifier did Akiyama 1-dan, Wakiya's opponent and a member of the Kansai Head Office, appear and indirectly mention the Osaka Japan Go Association. However, the building of the Osaka Japan Go Association is never specifically drawn in the work; apart from the name mentioned in the Hikaru no Go Chotto Ichigen notes, it is barely touched upon. Akiyama 1-dan, Wakiya's opponent in round 1 of the Hokuto Cup qualifier, belongs to it. Name only; no building appears. (vol. 20 P.139)
