Published in: Ep. 123 I Don't Want to Disappear!!! / Ep. 124 Farewell. Source pages: JC Hikaru no Go vol. 15 p. 36 etc. The venue of the one-day, one-night Go seminar held by the Nihon Ki-in was a hot spring inn. Sai spent the night before his disappearance here. Sadly, Sai left this world after a game with the drunken Ogata. From the diagram in the middle of page 36 of manga volume 15, this inn can be identified as "Suimeikan." The seminar was held in a meeting room called "Chōyō-no-ma," and the scenery on pages 36 and 67 is presumably photographed from the guest room window. [Addendum] In October 2016, I finally had the chance to stay at Suimeikan in Gero Onsen, the venue of the Go seminar where Sai spent his last night. After prior research, I presume Ogata 9-dan's and Mr. Ashihara's rooms were in "Rinsen-kaku." When booking, I specifically requested a room with a tokonoma alcove on the right side upon entering. Suimeikan houses many artworks, including works by national-level art masters, and has facilities of architectural value such as a noh stage and a tea room. Every day at 5 p.m., the hotel also offers a free in-house tour led personally by the hotel manager. I was very fortunate to join this tour, where I admired precious artworks and was able to enter "Chōyō-no-ma," fulfilling my wish. [About the photos] Suimeikan entrance: Because the bus parking position differs slightly from the manga diagram, the composition of the building is not entirely the same. Hovering over the image shows a photo with a composition closer to the manga. Rinsen-kaku corridor: The left side of the picture should originally be Mr. Ogata's room, but it was actually a restroom. To show the atmosphere of the corridor, I took this photo similar to the manga. Rinsen-kaku guest room: The room I stayed in met my request, with a tokonoma alcove on the right upon entering. Although the layout and interior are not entirely the same as the manga, I tried to photograph some images from similar angles. Go seminar venue (vol. 15 p. 36). The view on p. 36 is from a room at Suimeikan. 1268 Kota, Gero City, Gifu Prefecture, Suimeikan Details » (http://maps.google.co.jp/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=ja&geocode=&q=%E6%B0%B4%E6%98%8E%E9%A4%A8&jsv=145d&sll=35.805946,137.241297&sspn=0.007326,0.014892&g=%E5%B2%90%E9%98%9C%E7%9C%8C%E4%B8%8B%E5%91%82%E5%B8%82%E5%B9%B8%E7%94%B0%EF%BC%91%EF%BC%92%EF%BC%96%EF%BC%98&ie=UTF8&latlng=35805181,137241303,16219217903656865922&ei=AqyYSZj9GoSioQO23cS3Ag&sig2=2yszg_M9K_7g9QNO24McLQ&cd=2)
