Appears in: Ch. 3 Shi-kai no kyusho (first appearance) and others. Source pages: JC Hikaru no Go vol. 1 P.87 (first appearance) and many others. The Japan Go Association building is not a prototype but an important location treated as real in the manga, and probably the place that appears most often. It was already mentioned in Horita's naming day. During the serialization of Hikaru no Go it underwent major renovation and its appearance changed. The 'fake aquarium that looked real' and the cafeteria have disappeared, but the Go Hall of Fame museum opened in 2004, and now valuable Go-related materials can be seen (Hikaru-related exhibits, Go original art, colored paper signed by Mr. Obata, etc.
