Echizen Asakura Mantoyo Night越前朝倉万灯夜2025-07-28In the third collaboration, it was decided from the start that the new illustration would show the characters in yukata. The theme is summer hatsumode (shrine visits), and we wanted to express a nostalgic nighttime feel, so we chose a night background inspired by daytime shrine visits and the meeting spots and route for a festival date at a shrine. For this year, we planned to change the main visual partway through. Although the collaboration started in August, we made an announcement poster for a Fukui event in August first, then replaced it with the collaboration poster once the collaboration began. For the backgrounds, we chose the summer Phoenix Fireworks, which also appears in the work, and the Asakura Mantoyo night held at Ichijodani, a popular spot in Fukui City.
