Fukui Phoenix Fireworks
福井フェニックス花火A fireworks festival attended by the Chitose team members in Volume 5. The food stalls offered fries, takoyaki, fried chicken bites, baby castella, candied apples, cotton candy, and ramune sodas for the group (8 bottles). Once the fireworks began, Saku also bought yakisoba, grilled dango, frankfurters, and chocolate bananas. Some 10,000 fireworks are launched from the right bank upstream of Kida Bridge in central Fukui City. As introduced in the work, it is held on the first day of the 'Fukui Phoenix Festival,' a major summer event in Fukui City. It is a rare event held along many streets, and nearly every household in Fukui City can watch from home. Candidate spots for 'the best place to watch fireworks without anyone interfering' usually have someone there first. Like the Mikuni fireworks, it was suspended for two consecutive years from 2020 due to infectious disease, and in 2022 it was scaled down and held on September 2.
