Behind Fukui Prefectural Office福井県庁裏2025-07-28In the third collaboration, it was decided from the start that the new illustration would show the characters in yukata. The theme is summer hatsumode (shrine visits), and we wanted to express a nostalgic nighttime feel, so we chose a night background inspired by daytime shrine visits and the meeting spots and route for a festival date at a shrine. The road behind the prefectural government office, along the castle moat, has a quiet, melancholy charm. We used it as the background, imagining that Saku and Asukaze might have walked here in volume 2.
