Fujishima Shrine藤島神社2025-07-28In the third collaboration, it was decided from the start that the new illustration would show the characters in yukata. The theme is summer hatsumode (shrine visits), and we wanted to express a nostalgic nighttime feel, so we chose a night background inspired by daytime shrine visits and the meeting spots and route for a festival date at a shrine. Fujishima Shrine enshrines Nitta Yoshisada, a hero of the Kamakura period. It is located on Mount Asuwa, which appears in the work, and its family crest is the "Hitotsu Biryō" (one-line crest). A circle with a single stroke inside represents the sun, so "Hi" (sun) was assigned without hesitation.
