Sangubashi Koen-mae Three-Way Junction参宮橋公園前三叉路0:212024-07-02The three-way junction that appears in Episodes 1 and 3. As in the show, there is a cherry tree above the junction, but it is now hidden by the fence and trees planted right against it, so it is hard to see. When I checked in April 2010, a sign reading "Yaezakura" (double-flowered cherry) was hung on it, so I assumed that was correct; indeed, it bloomed a bit later than other cherry trees nearby. However, when I visited in April 2011, it had changed to "Somei-Yoshino." It is unknown whether the "Yaezakura" sign was simply wrong or if the tree was replanted afterward.
