2.4 Go Salon Clarkson2.4囲碁サロン クラークソンEP 201:572024-10-29The Go salon where Kishimoto, whom Hikaru met by chance at a bookstore, invited him. Not only the exterior but also the interior closely matches the manga. [Addendum] In November 2017, I finally visited this Go salon in person and took photos of the exterior. However, I had worried since I started researching that it might have closed. Sadly, when I arrived, it was no longer a Go salon but a stylish hair salon. I cannot determine when this Go salon closed or whether other tenants moved in afterward. However, when I first searched online for "囲碁サロン クラークソン," I could still find many detailed records including interior photos. Over time, that information has disappeared, and current searches mostly return yellow-pages listings that are no longer updated. Considering many buildings are demolished and rebuilt over time, it is quite fortunate that this Go salon's exterior has survived to this day. (December 27, 2017) The Go salon where Hikaru played Kishimoto (Vol. 5, p.111). Not only the exterior but also the interior is modeled here. 6-32-4 Jingumae, Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, Iwasaki Building 2F
