Persian Governorate波斯总督府EP 322025-11-16A Mongol administrative body set up in the Iranian region during Ögedei's reign, with its seat roughly at Tus. Its official name is unknown, but during Möngke's reign it was named the 'Branch Department of State Affairs of the Amu River and Other Places'. Mongolist scholars generally call it the Persian Governorate or Iranian Governorate. The first governor was Chin Temür, and the third was Körgüz, who appears several times in the manga. In the manga, Körgüz attends the Second Quriltai as an envoy of the Persian Governorate and learns of Chin Temür's death before returning to Persia.
