In Volume 3, Chapter 3 of the novel, the park where Shimamura runs into Yashiro doing exercises. "In the small park next to the graveyard, I saw a very eye-catching head. The hair tied at the back of her head was blown by the strong wind and fluttered like a butterfly beating its wings." Anime: episode 8, 16:14. This is also the park where Shimamura pats Adachi's head in the anime: episode 4, 20:19, 20:35, 21:55, 23:12. (Since there is a vending machine at the intersection above and this is not far from "20.9 Shirige Village", could this be the park where Shimamura pats Adachi's head in the original work?)
