Zoshigaya Cemetery (Ep. 4)

雑司ヶ谷霊園(第4話)

The cemetery where Joji's wife Tomoyo rests. Leonardo, who followed Rei, witnesses her visiting the grave alone after school (Ep. 4). It is a metropolitan cemetery established in the Meiji era. It was not only the setting of Natsume Soseki's Kokoro, but Natsume Soseki himself is also buried here. Besides Natsume, many graves of famous figures in history are here, such as Maejima Hisoka, Koizumi Yakumo (Lafcadio Hearn), and John Manjiro.
