Hoshimiya Shrine星宮社Nagoya Shrine, whose lore is closely tied to meteorites, is the source of the name Seimiya Shrine. Its subsidiary shrine Kamishimo Chigama Shrine gave its name to Chigama Shrine in Adachi and Shimamura. Volume 3, Chapter 8 of the novel reads: 'Out of curiosity, I looked into it and learned that Seimiya Shrine is the name of a shrine near the town. The area where that shrine stands has several records of meteorite falls.'
