The uninhabited island 'Kobe Island', described in this work as in the northern bay of 'Nishifu Hazu City', is the Chapter 4 stage. In reality Kanmuri Island is an uninhabited island in Maizuru City, Kyoto Prefecture, also called Tokoyo Island. The whole island was designated a natural monument in 1924, and landing without permission is not allowed. The Tango Fudoki records a legend that the island was born after an earthquake in the first year of the Tenpo era. All of these match the game's depiction.
