Meiji Maru is a Japanese ship. Ordered from Britain by the Japanese government as a lighthouse inspection vessel, it was also used as the imperial yacht carrying the Emperor and as a training ship for crew. It is designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan. (Located within the Etchujima Campus of Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology.)
