Tokyo Metropolitan Government First Building (Under Construction)

東京都庁第一庁舎（建設中）
2025-09-06

First, this building is not the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building was already completed at the time set in the film, and the film has other scenes of it. This building is actually Shinjuku Park Tower. The building in front still exists: トーカン新宿キャステール. You can verify this with Street View: https://www.google.com/maps/search/东京都厅/@35.6864351,139.6911331,203m/data=!3m1!1e3?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI2MDgyNi4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D First, this building is not the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.
