Sunshine Seagullサンシャインシーガル号EP 58:082025-05-06Originally named Sea Friend No. 1, it was a passenger boat operating the route from Yokosuka to Sarushima (the route shown in the anime). The ship retired on June 22, 2024, but according to the poster's investigation on Twitter, it was apparently renamed Sunshine Seagull and sold to operate as a sightseeing boat at Onahama Port in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture... P.S. The boat shown in this scene in the manga is actually a regular ferry on the Naha–Tokashiki Island route, but for some reason the anime changed it.
