Udon Yashuうどん八州In Kiryu, flat, thin udon called 'hikawa' is said to be famous, but this place serves them even thinner. The texture differs from regular udon and is interesting. I had it as dipping noodles with mushroom soup; it was filling and quite satisfying. It was right in front of the filming location, so I went in mainly to gather information, and it was a hit. I'd like to try other toppings, so I'll probably come back.
