Ohtani Art Museum (Former Furukawa Residence)大谷美術館(旧古河邸)EP 35:202024-12-28This is believed to be the model for the Togawa family residence. The design is different, but the location is fairly consistent. There are many shots of Sakiko setting out from here; how many of them were leaving from home? Garden admission is 150 yen and building admission is 400 yen. Inside there is no private room with a piano, and the second floor is mostly closed, so if you are looking for Sakiko's piano room you will be disappointed. Furukawa Garden is known for roses, usually blooming in spring and autumn. The garden sometimes has free-admission days, but entering the building requires a ticket. Building ticket sales end at 16:00 and the whole grounds close at 17:00; check with fellow pilgrims for confirmation of the ticket cutoff. P.S. There is a Kasuga stone lantern in the garden if you want to look for it.
