In 『祝祭の街 暗』, Abe Naotoshi's note says: 'The background is the passage connecting the north and south sides of JR Mitaka Station, but I drew it mostly from memory, so it may already be a fictional scene...' In fact, the building exteriors in the illustration closely match reality; the biggest difference is that the real passage entrance is a slope rather than stairs.
